What to Expect During an In Office Visit at VIPSurg
We will begin welcoming patients back to our offices for in-person visits on June 1, 2020. The health of our patients, team, and community remains a top priority. We are implementing increased safety measures so that we can continue to provide safe care.
We have enhanced our cleaning measures between each patient visit and are asking patients to please be respectful of measures taken to decrease risk. If you have had a fever, cough, or any other symptoms, or have had a known COVID-19 exposure, please notify our office prior to coming for your appointment. We may ask that you reschedule. All patients will be screened upon arrival to the office.
Upon arrival, please call the clinic at (702) 487-6000 or text (702) 600-3638 to inform our team you have arrived. We will come to your vehicle to complete a quick health assessment including the following questionnaire: Pre-Appointment Intake Questionnaire
In order to best practice social distancing in the office and limit potential exposures, we are asking that only patients attend appointments, unless a support person is required to assist the patient. If it is absolutely necessary for your family/spouse/children to attend with you, please inform the office before your scheduled appointment time so we can best prepare for your visit and the needs of others.
Telehealth Appointments
Telehealth appointments allow you to see and speak to our providers from the comfort and safety of your own home via a secure digital portal. If you are higher risk for COVID-19 and would like to stay safer at home, this option allows you to receive the same great care from our providers without in-person interaction. This does require access to a smartphone, laptop or computer equipped with a camera and microphone, but no special software is needed. To schedule a telehealth appointment, please call the office at (702)448-5578 or contact us through the form on this page.
Emergency Care
If you have a true emergency, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. We urge you not to delay emergency care, even during the COVID-19 outbreak! To learn more about why you should not delay emergent care, read our blog on the topic.
